　　Nicknamed the Sunshine State, Queensland is filled with natural beauty, ranging from tropical coastal1 zones to dry inland areas to lush rainforests. 世界十大化石遺址之一，這組遺址分別位於昆士蘭州北部的里弗斯利及南澳的娜華高域洞穴，兩者不但同時呈現嶙峋的石灰岩地貌，當地所發現的大量動物化石更反映出澳洲特有哺乳類動物的進化過程。
