米蘭家具展：防水紙張，可以做成...壽司餐盤！

誰能想到，紙也可以作成可洗淨重複利用的餐盤，還有美妙的形狀呢？美妙的形狀來自力學支撐的考量結合，而白色的底剛好配合無印刷的紙張...

每年都有的米蘭家具盛會，其實有很多令人讚嘆的永續 / 綠色設計。這個紙餐盤雖然是2005年的作品，雖然稱不上非常綠，不過卻很有創意，也讓Jimmy開始注意到防水合成紙張的特殊應用。

美國著名的防水紙研發商YUPO推出他們的產品好一陣子，然而觀看網站上的應用（Application）成功案例，卻只有折頁（Brochure）、地圖、書籤...等等的印刷製品，沒有一個成功產品案例凸顯防水、無毒、可重複清洗使用的特性，還有綠色設計概念的重點。

所以Jimmy為他們可惜不是沒有理由的，像圖中餐盤的設計，不是很美好嗎？為何沒有放進他們的Successful Case裡頭。這個餐盤的設計者Liming Rao設計時就想到，這樣的紙盤不再是用過及丟，可清洗重複使用，整個設計上更是為了完全不用到其他的素材，成為100%可回收的產品，運用了巧思讓餐盤有一種弧度，達到支撐的效果。
