若干特殊形式的被動語態：

1.

“get＋p.p.”—— 相當於 “be＋p.p.”，但只用於口語中。——其中有些 “p.p.” 應視爲做主詞補語的 “分詞形容詞”。如：

用於主詞叫人或雇人做某事，但只說出事情，做事的人因爲是大家所熟知的，或是無關緊要，所以通常都未提出。如：

I don’t have (or get) it cut; I cut it myself.

用於敍述意外的、不幸的事情，並非主詞叫他人所爲。如：

singed 的原形是 singe (將、、、尖端燒焦)。

The bandits paid for the crimes by having (or getting) their heads chopped off.
(那些歹徒被砍了頭以作爲罪行的報應。)
